NHCheck Lite
Five checks, one page.

Your connection is slow. NHCheck Lite runs five real measurements in about thirty seconds and names which one is at fault — the Wi-Fi in the room, the router, the line out of the house, or the name lookup. Free, on Android.

Six languages · dark or light · no account, no tracking

NHCheck Lite after a run: one framed line reading that nothing is broken and name lookups are the slow step; the path from this device through the LAN gateway and a second router out to the ISP gateway, each hop with its measured latency; four passed and one warned; and a recommendation to move the network to channel 149.
A finished run — the culprit named, the path drawn, a verdict each

The five checks

Wi-Fi statusSignal, channel, interference and security — and the clearest channel to move to. Off Wi-Fi it judges the mobile link instead
LAN gatewayEight echoes to your router, then a sweep of the network behind it: a fault here is inside the house
ISP gatewayThe first public hop past it: a fault here is on the line
DNS lookupA name resolved and timed
Speed testReal download and upload, eight seconds each

Every check performs a real network operation — nothing is simulated. Each ends in PASS, WARN or FAIL, and whatever fell short comes with the fix behind it. The run closes by naming the culprit in one sentence, taken from the earliest failure along the path rather than the loudest number.

Two rows open further: the Wi-Fi row into an analyser that draws every network in range over the spectrum it occupies — or, on mobile data, into the operator, band and cells of the mobile link — and the LAN row into the list of what answered on your network, each by the name it publishes. Both are described in the documentation.
